Metamorfosa's underwater sculptures in Sumberkima Bay provide structures for coral restoration and a distinctive snorkelling route.
The Sumberkima Bay underwater gallery is part of Metamorfosa's long-running reef-restoration work. Purpose-built sculptures are placed on damaged seabed, then planted and monitored as corals establish around them.
Visitors can explore sections of the gallery by snorkel, kayak or guided boat trip, depending on sea conditions. Treat the installations as a living restoration site: keep clear of coral, do not stand on structures and follow the local team's route guidance.
